Managing Power Teams

This section will describe how to enable, define and use your power teams information in chapter meetings.
When Power Teams are enabled by the region, chapters will see a Power Teams bucket on the home page. Once set up, the home block will summarize the teams and the team reporting. The power teams administration can also be found in the drop-down menu Chapter > Power Teams.
Note* If you do not see the power teams bucket on the HOME page you can notify your region to enable.
Define a power team
Define a power team by selecting New. Provide a name for the power team and add members to this power team from the dropdown list. Select SAVE.
Power team management
Power team management can be accessed via Chapter > Settings. The member(s) you assign as Power Team Manager(s) will receive a weekly link from BNI+ with access solely to the power team administration.
If you want power teams to provide weekly updates it is recommended that an Admin member is assigned. Admin members are power team members who are responsible for their own power team. An admin member can be assigned by the Power Team Manager.
The Admin member will receive weekly notifications with a link enabling editing access to their particular power teams information such as mission, description, photo and activity updates. Any presentation files can be uploaded by the Admin member as well. Power team managers can also perform these tasks.
The power team meeting experience
There are several power team slides available. They can be found in the weekly presentation section and in the vice president's report section of the agenda.
Member weekly presentations can be organized alphabetically, randomly or by power team when enabled.
Weekly presentations organized by power teams list all teams for easy selection. Their respective preloaded presentations can be accessed here as well. Members that are not in power teams are also listed below the teams to further presentation access and flow.
Power teams also have slides in the vice president's report section. The Power team coordinator’s report, the All power teams slide and Select power teams slide. The All power teams slide lists all of the power teams. The Select power teams slide enables selection and highlights each power team with photos, updates and mission.
