Power teams serve as intentional subgroups of members within a chapter. This dynamic concept allows like-minded individuals to collaborate closely on shared customer bases, fostering collaboration and amplifying the impact of their collective efforts.
Key Characteristics of Power teams
Subgroups within a Chapter: Power teams are essentially smaller units or subgroups that exist within the larger chapter framework. This structure facilitates focused collaboration and a deeper connection among members.
Specialized Expertise: Typically, members are grouped based on their area of specialty, reflecting the diverse skills and talents present within the chapter. E.g. Construction. This specialization enhances the effectiveness of the power team in addressing specific customer needs.
Customer-Centric Collaboration: The primary purpose of power teams is to enable members to work harmoniously on the same customer base. This collaborative synergy allows them to pool resources, skills, and knowledge to successfully complete significant client projects.
Leadership within Power teams: Each power team is led by a designated leader who guides and orchestrates the group's activities. This leadership role is essential for maintaining cohesion, setting goals, and ensuring effective communication within the power team.
It's important to note that not every chapter within our organization may have power teams. The existence of power teams depends on the specific needs and dynamics of each chapter, as well as the makeup of its membership.
