The Chrome browser is recommended.  BNI+ has been tested with Firefox as well.  No other browsers are supported. 

Popup blockers – please allow BNI+ 

Slides 

To add a slide you must first select a section for the slide in the agenda .

Members can change their pictures by going to the BNI+ login page and accessing their profile 

Display 

Designed for HD but has option for other aspect ratios.  BNI+ slides are delivered in 1080p full HD with a resolution of 1920x1080.  This is also known as an aspect ratio of 16:9. 

F11 on the keyboard toggles Full screen. 

Presenters/hosts - it is advised to put the controller on the device that has the camera so you are reading while looking at the screen instead of sideways or elsewhere. 

When you share your Zoom screen, make sure you select the share audio option, this will ensure that everyone hears the timeout chimes. 

Notifications 

Notifications can be accessed from the Admin menu drop-down.  Email notifications can be sent manually or on a schedule organized around the weekly meeting dates/times. 

You may disable all notifications to members.  This option should be used during initial testing or setup of a chapter. 

Make sure all members have valid emails.  Notification emails depend on it. 

Meeting dates and references begin to switch to the next meeting 36 hours after a meeting closes, here is what is reset: 

  • Meeting attendance & visitors 
  • Meeting section presentations – like Networking Education  
  • Featured speaker presentations 
  • Chapter performance numbers 
  • Recognition – network leaders or new or renewing 
  • Closing quote 

 

Files and uploads 

Supported presentation file formats are:  PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, JPG, PNG, and PDF  

The maximum file upload size limit is 100 mb.  

For online meetings it is recommended that you avoid transitions in presentations or between slides.
